Our Napoleon Campus also offers a beautifully renovated chapel for worship, reflection and services for many faiths.

As a resident here, you’ll also enjoy all the privacy you desire, as well as peace of mind in knowing care is available right on campus, should you ever need it.

Bavarian Village is composed of 14 one-story, twinplex units. Each condominium includes the following features:

Alpine Village Assisted Living

Alpine Village on the Napoleon Campus provides just the right amount of assistance surrounded by warmth, caring and compassion. The assisted living services at Alpine Village are available at one of the lowest rates in the four-county area (Henry, Defiance, Fulton and Wood counties). Alpine Village was recognized by the Ohio Department of Aging as placing among the top 25 assisted living facilities in the state for resident satisfaction, and our commitment to caring and resident satisfaction has never wavered.

The goal of our professional staff is to help each resident maintain his or her highest possible level of independence in a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. Common areas are tastefully appointed and residents are encouraged to decorate their apartments with the personal touches and furnishings that make it their own.

Who should choose assisted living?

Assisted living is most appropriate for those who are not able to live alone, but who also do not require constant care. Alpine Village assisted living offers varying levels of care — from moderate to more comprehensive assistance — with each resident receiving the support of professional staff to ensure he or she remains as active and independent as possible.

Depending on individual needs, care may include assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, walking, laundry, housekeeping, medication and more. This arrangement helps bridge the gap between independent living and nursing care.

Person-centered care

We are committed to person-centered care and creating an atmosphere in which residents have choice and flexibility in their daily routines, dignity, privacy and companionship that creates an overall sense of well-being. Upon admission, an individual service plan is developed to understand each resident’s unique needs. Service plans are updated regularly to ensure appropriate assistance is provided as needs change.

A full calendar of activities gives residents opportunities to interact and enjoy the company of others.

Alpine Village features 40 affordable, private apartments in a choice of studio or one-bedroom, single-level floor plans.

Each apartment includes:

  • Combination living room, dining room and kitchenette area. Kitchenette includes a sink, microwave and mini-refrigerator.

We combine advanced nursing competency with a genuine desire to serve and create individual care plans that promote independence and lead to better outcomes.

The Health Center environment is designed to be inviting and comfortable, with warm colors, spacious lounge areas, abundant natural light and wood accents. This inviting feel has been enhanced through the ongoing interior renovation of public areas throughout the Health Center.

In addition, we are committed to person-centered care and creating an atmosphere in which residents have choice and flexibility in their daily routines, dignity, privacy and companionship that creates an overall sense of well-being. We provide on-site case management services and home assessments prior to discharge to home.

We provide comprehensive chronic disease programs, including:

The Napoleon Campus provides care for individuals with mild to moderate memory loss. We provide therapeutic environments, creative activities and well-trained staff members who help residents feel secure and valued.

Palliative and hospice care

When end-of-life care becomes necessary, staff members work with area hospice providers to supply the medical services, emotional support and spiritual resources required by people who are in the last stages of a serious illness. Palliative and hospice care focus on relieving pain and other symptoms to enhance the quality of remaining life by keeping patients as alert and comfortable as possible in a familiar environment with family and friends. Hospice care also helps family members manage the practical details and emotional challenges of caring for a dying loved one.
